Education Support Fund

Stratford Coal have established the Stratford Coal Education Support Fund to provide assistance to students within the local area for further education and developing workplace skills and qualifications.

The aim of the Education Support Fund is to assist local students with formal education and training and help provide a pathway towards future employment.

The Education Support Fund has an annual allocation of funding for the following categories:

• Tertiary Assistance Scholarships

• TAFE Course & School-based Apprenticeships/Traineeships

• Local Business subsidies for Apprenticeships/Traineeships

Eligible students are invited to submit applications throughout the year, with applications closing on 31 January of each year.

Applicants are encouraged to carefully read the guidelines and ensure all sections of the application form are completed in full.

The Stratford Coal Education Support Fund was a finalist in the 2022 Health, Safety, Environment and Community Awards for community excellence, run by NSW Mining.
